Q. What happens if I order the wrong size ring?

A. Before placing an order with us, try reading our Ring Size Info page, or you can go to a local jeweler to have your finger sized for a comfort fit ring. If you do receive a ring that doesn't fit, all of our Thorsten rings have a Lifetime Warranty that covers manufacturing defects, accidental damage, and resizing. (Please note that resizing includes ring size but does not include ring width.) If the ring you ordered does not fit properly, you can select one of two options: a warranty exchange or a return (within 30 days of delivery) and a new order.

For a Warranty Exchange, please contact us to begin the exchange process. Once the original ring has been shipped back to the manufacturer, the exchange processing time is typically 3-5 business days. (Business days are Monday - Friday, excluding holidays.) If you need to receive your exchanged ring sooner, please let us know. If you have received your ring within the past 30 days, we can begin processing a return, and you can place a new order. You can place this new order at any time and will not need to wait for the return to be completed before your new ring ships out. Q. How will my ring ship?

A. We offer free shipping! After your order has been processed, it will ship out via USPS Priority Mail and will typically be delivered within 2-4 business days. (Business days are Monday - Friday, excluding holidays.) This 2-4 business day range is a typical time frame and not a guaranteed time frame. If you need to receive your ring by a certain time, you can select one of our expedited shipping options.

Q. Do you offer express shipping?

A. We have three express shipping options that you can select at the time of checkout. These options include FedEx 2 Day delivery, FedEx Overnight Afternoon delivery, and FedEx Overnight Morning and Saturday delivery. See our Shipping Information page for more details. (Please note that the shipping method selected has no effect on lead time.) 

Q. What are the details of your Lowest Price Guarantee?

A. If you find the same product on another site for a lower price, we'll beat them by 5% (if you haven't placed your order yet), or we'll refund you the difference (if you have placed your order within the last 30 days.) For a price match, contact us via email with the following information: your full name, your email address, your phone number, the name of the product on our site, the URL of the product on the competitor's site, and the competitor's final pricing. Q. Is shopping on your site secure?

A. Yes. Our store is continually tested by Trust Guard, a third party security company, to ensure that our level of security meets our high standards. Our website is also encrypted, which means that all the information you enter at checkout cannot be seen by a third party. Our website's security is active 24 hours a day, 7 days a week. Q. How do you handle my personal information?

Q. How tight or loose should my ring be?

A. You do not want your ring to be so tight that it prevents blood from circulating through your finger, but you also don't want it loose enough that it can fall off. Generally, the perfect size ring should come off your finger with some force, but you should not have to strain. Check out our Ring Sizing Information for more details. And if you're still unsure, you can always go to a local jeweler to have your finger sized for a comfort fit ring. 

Q. What does "comfort fit" mean?

A. All of our Thorsten rings are sized for comfort fit. This means that the inside of the ring is slightly rounded, rather than flat and typically results in needing a half size smaller than a standard fit ring. This type of fitting is common for tungsten carbide rings. Read our Ring Sizing Information page to learn more.

Q. What ring sizes do you carry?

A. Generally we carry sizes 6 through 13.5; however, larger sizes are available for some rings. If you need a size outside of the options provided on our site or you need a custom size, please contact us.

Q. How wide are your rings?

A. Available widths vary by ring. Check the product page to see which widths are available. You can get a good idea of how wide a ring will be by stacking nickels on a flat surface. One nickel is 2mm high, two nickels are 4mm high, and so on. 

Q. How long will it take to receive my order?

A. Orders placed outside of business hours will be processed the following business day. (Business days are Monday - Friday, excluding holidays.) Processing typically takes 1-2 business days, but can take longer. Unless you have selected an expedited shipping option and as long as your ring is traveling within the U.S., it will travel via free 2-4 business day USPS Priority Mail. Please note that this 2-4 business day range is a typical time frame and not a guaranteed time frame. Tracking information will be provided to you via email when it becomes available.

Rings traveling to international shipping addresses will travel via U.S. Postal Service or by FedEx according to our discretion. Expedited shipping options are not available for non-U.S. orders. International transit times are typically 3-7 business days. This is a typical time frame and not a guaranteed time frame. Tracking information will be provided to you via email when it becomes available.

Q. Will I have to pay customs taxes for my international order?

A. It is possible that your international shipment may incur customs fees or taxes. It is the customer's responsibility to pay these fees or taxes. Each country has its own laws about imported items, and we are not able to predict if a fee will occur or how much that fee might be. For more information, contact your customs office.

Q. Do you ship to APOs and FPOs?

A. Yes. Orders being shipped to APO and FPO addresses will be shipped via Priority Mail through the U.S. Post Office. When placing your order, just fill in the shipping address with your APO or FPO address.

Q. Do these rings come with a warranty?

A. Yes - all Thorsten rings have a Lifetime Warranty that covers manufacturing defects, accidental damage, and resizing. Please note that the warranty covers resizing for ring size, but not for ring width. If you have accidentally damaged your ring or you need a different size, contact us to start a warranty exchange. The warranty exchange fee is $6.95. The lifetime warranty does not cover custom laser engravings; if you would like for your exchanged ring to be re-engraved, a re-engraving fee of $15.00 will apply. Note: International orders are eligible for size exchange for a $10.00 fee per ring per exchange, plus the cost of international shipping. This policy does not apply for rings containing precious metals or stones or for rings with precious metal inlays.

Q. Why should I choose a tungsten ring?

A. Tungsten is a very strong and durable metal, offering 4 times the scratch resistance that Titanium has. Not only is Tungsten is becoming more popular as the price of gold and other precious metals is on the rise, it is also versatile as you can see with our huge selection of different styles of tungsten rings. You can select a ring with a wood or stone inlay, opt for a truly one of a kind fingerprint ring, or go for any number of other possibilities.

Q. Is Tungsten indestructible?

A. Nothing is indestructible, but Tungsten is certainly a very hard and durable metal. More importantly, if you select a ring with a stone or wood inlay, this part of the ring is not as hard as Tungsten and can be susceptible to accidental damage if the ring is treated roughly. While damage is rare, it can happen on occasion, which is why we offer a Lifetime Warranty for all Thorsten rings.

Q. Do your Tungsten rings contain nickel or cobalt?

A. None of our rings contain cobalt. However, our tungsten rings do have a small amount of nickel as a binding agent. If you have sensitive skin and are worried about the presence of nickel in your tungsten ring, you may want to select one of our beautiful ceramic rings.

Q. What quality are the diamonds used in your rings?

A. It is generally accepted that diamonds smaller than 0.25 carats have a color of G or H, which means that they are near colorless and that your eyes cannot distinguish between colorless and near colorless diamonds. The clarity generally used is SI grade. This clarity level means that any impurities the diamond may have cannot be seen with the naked eye. This is the industry standard ford small stones set into bands.
